The big question get more pop from Thanksgiving in November and Valentine's Day in February than at any other time of the year.
So over the next few months brides will be planning their wedding, create wedding budgets and the allocation of large sums of money to a variety of providers, all of which will be part of making this the best day of being their life .

with your budget, which can run from a few thousand dollars to more than a million dollars, it is important that you, the bride, make sure that attention is given to the areas that are important to you .
If your flowers are important to you, do not go cheap on them. As a wedding video is important to you, do not your cousin shoot it free - rent a really big wedding videographer
If your wedding photos are important to you, find the cheapest photographer -. Find the live one that brings your dreams. (As a side note here, I've never ever has a bride said she was really happy that she scrimped and a cut rate photographer to her on her big day catch. There is charge a reason photographers they charge do not expect a $ 5,000 work of a $ 500 photographer - .. it's just not going to happen)

Within the budget you create, right from the beginning, to allocate money for beauty.
This is the one day of your life where looking and feeling beautiful really really count. You spend money on your dress, your flowers, your photographer, and now you need to make a plan for your hair and makeup. Many brides have this part of the planning until later, and end up with only a small amount of money left to make them look their best on their big day.
Your hairdresser and makeup artist plays a massively important role in your day.

Today I want to address the makeup part of the equation, especially the discussion of a makeup artist.
in general when a bride is working with a wedding planner, the planner will make a point of discussing the hair and makeup team, and the importance of discussing them early. The good ones always are discussed rid.

Recently I have noticed in my own market, and heard from fellow makeup artists both nationally and from remote regions around the world, this crazy trend as makeup artists, or novice named artists, offering their services for weddings at ridiculously low prices. Sometimes even on Groupon.

At first glance it may seem like a slap deal.
But maybe you should look at the total picture, and see what you can get yourself into.

in the markets that I researched, including my own, prices for makeup artists for weddings tend to run into 3 levels.

1) the most expensive, which typically consist of a handful of artists with a vast experience and incredible skills. If they reach your price point, grab one before they fully discussed. And they will get fully booked.

2) Next there is the main face of makeup artists. $ 15 of each other - their prices will be very similar, usually within
5 be $. These artists tend to be very good at what they do. In general, they are very wedding experience, will be able to airbrush, and is going to do a great job.

3) Then there's the lower level. These artists are super cheap. In most cases in life you get what you pay for, and there is a reason why these artists ask much lower than the median.

So lets take a look at what goes into prices for wedding makeup.

* training.
I admit that some of the greatest artists have had no formal training in the world.

Bill Gates dropped out of school early. But most people school early turn in Bill Gates.
While working in the following Pat McGrath or Billy B can run in your quest for a wedding makeup artist, there is a strong chance that you will not.

As a quality artist a makeup school, they probably still working higher knowledge, and is on a quest for a greater skills. Some of the most exceptional artists I know, from all over the world, constantly seek more training and attend workshops and day classes as often as they can.
In a constantly changing business it is very important that an artist is keeping up with training for both relevant and stay on point with the current technology and trends.
an artist who pay for more training to be a little more food. And they will be worth.

* Professional Products
When an artist open their kit you get mostly professional look, quality products there at least a high.
Professional Products is different from most commercial retail products in that they are more highly pigmented, and colors truer to stay and more importantly, they are more refined, built to withstand more, and keep them going more on your skin.

Think of it this way: professional makeup is designed to make movie stars look flawless when shot in the most unforgiving HD and displayed on a screen 30 feet high. This is the kind of clarity and perfection that you want to make your wedding day look. And you will not get bought out products with a recipe or a distributor.
I personally like my brides airbrush that their skin looks flawless, but not overly made up, and also because the airbrush product that I use takes a good 14 hours.
build a package with quality products cost money, and it will be reflected in prices the artist.
a package full of cheapie products or products that are intended for the professional arena to be used is not likely to produce a makeup that will last. And most wedding makeup must be at least 12 hours.

* Experience.
How many weddings have done your make-up artist? What other makeup experience they
Anyone with an Instagram account or access to YouTube may foundation of application or put on the lips, but when it comes to a wedding, experience is important
For example .? not your artist knows how to interpret the light? You may ready in a softly lit hotel room, but your pictures is fat, afternoon light. Someone who knows what they do want to factor in the choice of intensity and color of makeup, length of shots and number of gloss or sheen will work on your lips.
Even more important will know someone with experience how to handle all types of disasters that may occur. And happened to weddings, things. From unexpected tears, people run to highlight skin allergies, to giant day-of-wedding pimples popping, an unexpectedly hot / cold / windy / rainy / humid / dry / sunny / cloudy you name it day and much more.
Sometimes the most tender will, sweet natured girl turns into a demon on her wedding day (thankfully not often though). An experienced artist will be able to see what's really going on and roll with it, rather than frazzled or moody. An experienced artist will not just show up with a makeup kit full of products that are ready to solve a problem, but he or she is able to defuse situations before they arise, stay calm and friendly, and keep everything will be next.

I've heard horror stories of girls in the bridal party, on hideous makeup in previous weddings they had to wash and redo off themselves unclean brushes and products used, colors do not match, looked like ghosts or raccoons in wedding photos - you name it. They tell me over and over that they want them or the bride of the wedding the foresight to someone better book.
And oddly enough, I have never heard anyone say that they are happy as ever that they are discussing a $ 35 makeup artist for their wedding, or that they look and feel their best in their smoking deal, super cheapie deals -up work.
This is likely to be the opposite.

when choosing your makeup artist for your wedding day, do a little research.
Find out what experience the artist.
Ask to see some of their previous work.
Arrange a hearing ahead of time, so you still have time and options if you do not like their jobs, or not mesh with them.
When you keep your hearing an eye out for cleanliness. Brushes, tools, makeup and makeup cases must be clean. Both for hygiene and also as an indication of professionalism the artist's

a last thought of a fellow makeup artist :.

Do not let a $ 45 makeup job ruining $ 4,000 of photography ....
