Hawaii, Honolulu - Report by Elizabeth. Today, we will give information about Wedding day survival kit .
Summer is Primo wedding season pretty much everywhere (except Arizona!)
I'm constantly asked what items to pack the gall to keep leaving the beauty very strongly to the makeup artist, so I think there is no time like the present to tackle this one!
It should also be noted that it is ideal for any night out, and these items are standard in whatever bag I run around the city.
If you get married, I recommend a makeup artist gets you ready. If you have a pro take care of your makeup, you will need very little in the way of touch ups.
I also strongly advises anyone who uses airbrush. No ifs, buts or maybes.
But back to the kit ...
1) Blot papers.
You want a show that comes to combat flux papers. Sephora brand is great, MAC has good too. Never wipe, just press the area and elevator. This will help lift off any grease. If you keep adding powder will begin your face to look made up too and cakey.
2) Makeup Forever Duo Mat.
This is one of those powder / foundation combos, and in my opinion (and I have always been one!) It is by far the best. Sometimes you need a little extra powder, and was cleared by the use of a dual product replacing any color away.
Duo Matt has the best colors, a beautiful natural finish it, keep your beautiful carpet. The packaging is very sleek and used bulky in your makeup bag be. Put a triangle sponge in there (get your makeup artist to give you a if you do have them). If you want to get weepy or need a repair work under the eyes, etc., a slim spire triangle sponge is key.
3) Lip liner.
You will need to touch your lips throughout the day. I love MAC lip liners and Julie Hewett lip liners. Your make-up artist can tell you what color you need, so you can buy it for the big day.
4) Lip Gloss
I like my brides to glosses in colored lip, and there are some great ones out there. Make sure you use one that is not sticky or gooey (never a good look). I love MAC, Julie Hewett and Chanel for glosses. They have the best colors, expensive nice and do ball on the lip.
Definitely get a gloss on a wall. The application is much easier, and there is less chance you get it on your dress.
5) Plackers
There is nothing worse that talking to people with food stuck between your teeth!
to eat, a quick trip to the ladies room with a placker and you can make sure that the teeth are looking pretty! (Most of us do not have to brush the time or space from teeth all the time while out. And toothpaste Jacks really the taste of champagne ...)
6) Listerine breath strips
Assume you have bad breath, and keep this at hand!
(This is a way better idea than assuming you do!) Get most brides a nice dry mouth on their wedding day. It will keep you fresh.
Definitely not chew gum and breath mints will eventually give you icky breath anyway. Plus you could end up with a little white flecks of altoid on your lips.
7) neatly folded Kleenex.
Pre-fold a few Kleenex and keep them flat in your pocket. If you weepy get slipped a flat, folded Kleenex under the lower lashes and press. Never, never wipe or use a bundle on Kleenex. Chances are you just a big old mess.
8) Eye drops
For only the brave! It is only in need! If you cry, or a Fleck of something in your eye, slipped a folded Kleenex under your lower lashes, tip back your head and if you look away, noticed a drop in the inner corner of your eye.
close your eyes and keep them closed for a few seconds. You do not want tears rolling down your pretty face made up!
9) Bobby pins for any mini hair repair. You have used a lot, but it's a good idea to have them on hand.
10) Safety pins
I like a few young and some medium / large ones. You never know when there will be a chance to rip, or need a quick fix. Better safe than sorry!
A quick last look in the mirror, and girlfriend, you're good to go!
