Last weekend was so much fun!
NHRA Test & Tune in the city.
At Firebird Raceway.
Aaaahh!
season is almost ready to start ...
Test & Tune is where getting the teams to bring their cars and look at new set ups etc. .
Last year tons of teams to Phoenix.
this year more to Florida the week before, and the turn out was low.
Still fun!
There were not too many people out and about this time.
But.
We have a "Tweet Up" on the go .
it's where to gather a bunch of friends on Twitter all.
The Nitro Twitter gang flew in from all over.
They came in from Chicago, New York, St. Louis, Memphis, Sacramento
-many different locations to 3 day event.
Here are a few of us.
I've got a bit misleading led everyone to believe that if they flew out of the snow
it would be here again divide changes.
did not get the 1st day.
Day 2?
Brain bendingly cold. Who knew?
I should have been managing the pavilion.
But I did not.
It was extra fun too, because the photo joke hair which made me start in this entire NHRA business was there.
and they are fun.
So we hung out and had some time laughs.
Day 3 the sun came out.
Drag Strip Girl shirt and the ever funny, once a high energy, Wiley John Force.
He is such a character!
His 25th birthday car looked awesome!
John Force Racing has three cars there this time.
Mike Neff is tuning takes place from driving John's car.
Bummer.
Bob Tasca there was when Tim Wilkerson.
It was quite Ford Festival.
Brandon Bernstein was in his new blue Copart car.
Odd him see red.
John's daughter Ashley Force Hood
the girl power for the weekend.
Ashley is one of the most glamorous, fabulous female pro athletes around.
and she was angry!
This is her start her first burnout of the day on Sunday.
Last year I wrote a blog post about the Western Swing, and asked readers who they wanted to win Funny car.
The response was overwhelming!
from all over the world.
who knows?
Sometimes more than 100 hits per hour.
53% wanted Ashley to win.
Last year we debut of the Al Anabi cars. They were not here this time, but we are all excited about new car Cruz Pedregon see us.
Well, I was.
The Cruzer is often controversial (love), makes for a great TV (love)
and you never knows what he will say next ( love it!)
